The Dakota Territory Air Museum, located in Minot, North Dakota, is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the region’s rich aviation history. Established in 1986, the museum features a diverse collection of approximately 60 aircraft, including rare World War II planes like the Hawker Hurricane and the P-47D Thunderbolt. In fact, the museum’s P-47D Thunderbolt is the only Republic Aviation-built razorback P-47D currently flying in the world.
