There is a huge tarmac where their beautiful old planes sit and watch the world go by after their active duty days have ended. Some you can actually climb in and peek. And there is a big landing strip for when they are launched on a special memorial flight.
You’ll find plenty to look at, not just planes. Life-sized displays, vintage armory, artillery and cars, videos, models, and the docents who love to answer your questions and perhaps, reminisce.
