Air Force Center – Flieger-Flab-Museum Dubendorf, tells the history of Swiss military aviation and air defense is right before your eyes! A collection of more than 40 airplanes and helicopters demonstrates how quickly technology has changed from wooden biplanes to interceptors which fly at the speed of sound.

There are seven thematic areas of the museum:

1. Aircraft Collection:
   • The museum houses a wide variety of aircraft used by the Swiss Air Force, including:
     • Fighter Jets: Hawker Hunter, Mirage III, and de Havilland Vampire.
     • Reconnaissance and Training Aircraft: Pilatus models (Pilatus P3-02, PC-7, EKW C3605) and other Swiss-manufactured planes.
     • Historical Aircraft: Vintage planes from World War II (P-51D Mustang) and earlier eras (Fokker D.VII, Hanriot HD.1).
   • Many of the aircraft are well-preserved or restored and provide a deep dive into Switzerland’s military aviation history.
2. Anti-Aircraft Defense (Flab):
   • Exhibits highlight the evolution of Swiss anti-aircraft defense systems, including:

     • Artillery used for air defense in the 20th century.
