The Virgil I. “Gus” Grissom Memorial Museum is located within Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, Indiana. This museum honors astronaut Virgil “Gus” Grissom, a Mitchell native and one of NASA‘s original seven Mercury astronauts. Gemini 3 “Molly Brown” Space Capsule is the actual spacecraft piloted by Grissom during his 1965 mission. Space Suit worn by Grissom, showcasing the gear used during his missions.
