The Highland Aviation Museum, once located near Inverness Airport in Scotland, was a notable attraction for aviation enthusiasts. It featured a collection of aircraft, including complete planes and cockpit sections, with the unique opportunity for visitors to access many of the cockpits. This hands-on experience allowed guests to explore the interiors of various aircraft, from the compact cockpit of the Lightning jet-fighter to the expansive front section of the Nimrod submarine hunter.

Unfortunately, the museum permanently closed its doors in October 2019. Following the closure, the aircraft were sold, and the exhibits were dispersed. As a result, the museum is no longer available for visits or educational tours.
