The Independence Palace (also known as the Reunification Palace) is a historic landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It served as the presidential palace for South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and became a symbol of the end of the war when North Vietnamese tanks crashed through its gates on April 30, 1975.
