The SM-79 Sparviero (‘Sparrow Hawk’) was both a conventional and torpedo bomber, introduced into military service in 1934. The SM-79 was instantly recognisable by the unusual cockpit window arrangement. This aircraft was operated by the Lebanese Air Force at L-112, and now restored to a 1942 Italian AF scheme as MM24327.
