National Vigilance Park (NVP), located near the National Security Agency (NSA) headquarters at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, was dedicated on September 2, 1997, as a memorial to U.S. military personnel who participated in aerial reconnaissance during the Cold War.   • U.S. Air Force C-130A Hercules: Commemorating a reconnaissance-configured C-130A shot down over Soviet Armenia during the Cold War.
  • U.S. Navy EA-3B Skywarrior: Honoring a mission in the Mediterranean on January 25, 1987, in which all seven crew members perished.

In February 2017, NVP was dismantled to make way for the construction of a new NSA visitor center. The aircraft and memorials were removed, with plans to relocate them adjacent to the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM). As of now, the park remains closed, and the relocation has not been completed.
