The RAAF Wagga Aviation Heritage Centre, located at RAAF Base Wagga in Forest Hill, NSW, offers a comprehensive look into the Royal Australian Air Force’s history and its significant involvement in the Riverina region. The Centre features both indoor and outdoor exhibits, including aircraft such as the Mirage, a Korean War Meteor, a Vietnam War Canberra representing over seventy years of RAAF flying history.

The RAAF Wagga Aviation Heritage Centre is located in the old Guard House at the entrance to RAAF Base Wagga at Forest Hill, ten kilometres east of the CBD of Wagga Wagga, along the Sturt Highway. The entrance to the base is easily recognisable by the static aircraft on display next to the Aviation Heritage Centre. These aircraft are completely accessible for visitors to view and photograph.

The RAAF Wagga Aviation Heritage Centre is housed in the original guardhouse, the first building established at RAAF Base Wagga in 1940, adding historical significance to the venue. Visitors can explore various themed rooms showcasing Air Force heritage artifacts, photographs, and documents that highlight the activities of the region during World War II and subsequent years.
