The RAAF Townsville Museum has been ‘raided’ by the RAAF and only the Neptune (A89-280) and the Caribou (A4-199) remain. All the aircraft were either scrapped or taken to other RAAF museums. They will be closing the museum early 2020 to enable them to put a large concrete base for up to 6 aircraft.
