Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust – Allison Branch

he Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust – Allison Branch, also known as the James A. Allison Exhibition Center, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of the Allison Engine Company, which became part of Rolls-Royce in 1995. The museum showcases over 25 aircraft engines and large-scale models, representing a century of technological advancements.

Reservations are required for a tour. dependent on docent availability.

Public parking is available in the parking lot located directly east of the Rolls-Royce Meridian Center (please note this is not a Rolls-Royce lot and a fee may be charged) or paid meters are located along South, Illinois, and South Meridian streets.

Engine collection

The Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust – Allison Branch includes a number of significant historical engines, although  many await restoration at present. These are viewable with a docent present for public safety considerations.

Engines include the Liberty, “X” 4360, V1710(s), W 3420, J33, J35, J71, XJ99, Viper, TF41, M250(s) T63, CTS800, several auto turbines, T40, T56, LiftFan, 571, AE2100, AE3007, Mach 3 Ratlers, and Minuteman II.
