Visitors to the U.S. Naval Academy must show a valid government ID (driver’s license, passport, CAC, etc.) at the gate. Visitors from Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington, and ID cards from American Samoa, will be required to present a second form of government or school issued identification (picture required).

The U.S. Naval Academy Museum is located in Preble Hall on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It is 35 miles east of Washington, D.C. via U.S. Route 50 (Exit 24), and 26 miles south of Baltimore via Maryland Route 2 or Interstate 97

The U.S. Naval Academy Museum offers two floors of exhibits about the history of seapower, the development of the U.S. Navy, and the role of the U.S. Naval Academy in producing officers capable of leading America’s sailors and marines.
