Wings of Honor Museum

The Wings of Honor Museum in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the Walnut Ridge Army Flying School, the Marine Corps Air Facility at Walnut Ridge, and the USAF 725th Radar Squadron. The museum honors military personnel who have served—and those who now serve—to maintain our freedom.

Exhibits and Collections:

  • Aircraft: The museum’s collection includes a Vultee BT-13 Valiant training aircraft from World War II.
  • Historical Displays: Exhibits cover various topics, including the Vietnam War, underaged soldiers, women in World War II, and cleanup after atomic testing at Enewetak Atoll.
  • Research Library: The museum’s research library houses over 2,500 volumes on aviation and military history, including over 500 aviation cadet class books and airfield annuals.
