How to get there: The Pacific Aviation Museum is located on Ford Island (a secured military base) in the middle of Pearl Harbor. Take Ala Moana Blvd. / Nimitz Highway or (H-1) West to begin. While on H-1; look for the USS Arizona/Stadium exit, #15A. It is the second exit from the Airport. Continue on HI-99 (Kamehameha Highway) 1.6 miles. The Visitor center will be on your left.
Collection:

The museum eventually plans to tell the history of aviation in the Pacific from World War II (focused on the Pearl Harbor Attack), through the Korean War, the Vietnam War and a bit beyond. Although only Hangar 37 is now open (including a cafe and an interesting gift shop), two additional hangers are in the planning stages.
