Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa Oscar N750N Imperial Japanese Army Air Service

Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa Oscar N750N Imperial Japanese Army Air Service

Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa Oscar N750N Imperial Japanese Army Air Service

The only of its type in the world. Fully flyable but due to its rarity it may never again take to the skies. The Hayabusa was the Japanese Army's "Zero". It was a very capable fighter and shot down more Allied aircraft than any other Japanese fighter. Its drawbacks however were weak armor and armement and the fact that it had no self sealing fuel tanks.
