RAF Duxford is owned by the Imperial War Museum (IWM) and is the site of the Imperial War Museum Duxford, and the American Air Museum and also home of the Flying Legends Air Show. This is the 26th Flying Legends air show, with unique presentations of historic piston-engined aircraft in rare combinations and flying displays. Flying Legends 2018 air show was one of the hottest ever, more than 35 degrees in the sun.

This year the air show featured no less than four Hispano Buchons, four Hurricanes and four Mustangs. Also taking part were fifteen Spitfires! Also re enactors dressed in period clothing were on the flight line to pose with the aircraft or with the public.
