Hunderd years ago there were 2 air shows in the Netherlands, one in Amsterdam, and the other in Rotterdam.
The Rotterdam cinema owner Abraham Tuschinski organized an air show at the Woudestein horse racing track in Rotterdam on 31 August (Queens day) and 1 September 1919.
In this movie, you see the French Georg Boulard with his Caudron G.III, and the British captain W. G. R. Hinchliffe nicknamed “the one eyed devil” with the Avro 534 Baby.
At the end you see Abraham Tuschinski boarding for his maiden flight.
