F-WZAB Citroën RE-2

Conservatoire Citroën Héritage – The Citroën RE-2 is a helicopter prototype developed in the 1970s as part of an experimental project by Citroën, a company known primarily for its iconic automobiles. The RE-2 helicopter was a rotary-wing aircraft designed by Citroën in collaboration with Aérospatiale, a French aerospace manufacturer. This helicopter is notable because Citroën is not generally associated with the aviation industry, and the RE-2 remains a rare and intriguing example of the company’s brief venture into helicopter design.
