The Museu da Guerra Colonial (Colonial War Museum) in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, is a museum dedicated to preserving the history and memory of Portugal’s involvement in the Colonial War (1961–1974), fought in Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, and other territories. While the focus of the museum is primarily on the military and social aspects of the conflict, it does include displays related to military aviation, given the critical role of aircraft in the war.
