The AB-212 Class helicopter, numbered TCB-36, displayed on the Helicopter platform of the Aegean Museum Ship, is a surface reconnaissance and submarine search helicopter manufactured in Italy on August 4, 1977. It had flown 6942 hours and 55 minutes until it went out of service on March 25, 2013. The helicopter is 17.39 meters long and 3.86 meters high. Its top speed is 130 knots, or about 240 kilometers. The Agusta Bell AB.212ASW helicopter has been used in reconnaissance and attack, as well as search and rescue missions against submarines and surface vehicles.
