The Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation (ECAF) is a volunteer-run charity dedicated to preserving and showcasing classic aircraft that have significantly contributed to Canadian aviation history. Located at the Edenvale Aerodrome in Stayner, Ontario, ECAF maintains a collection of airworthy vintage aircraft and offers visitors a chance to experience aviation heritage firsthand.

Exhibits and Activities:
- Aircraft Collection: ECAF’s hangar houses a variety of classic aircraft, including models like the Tiger Moth and Cornell, which are maintained in flying condition. Visitors can view these aircraft up close and learn about their historical significance.
- Public Flights: For those interested in experiencing vintage aviation, ECAF offers flight experiences in some of their classic aircraft. Reservations can be made by contacting flights@classicaircraft.ca.
- Aviation Library and Memorabilia: The foundation maintains a library devoted to aviation history, along with displays of antique engines, aviation memorabilia, and model showcases, providing a comprehensive insight into Canada’s aviation past.
Events:
- Gathering of the Classics: ECAF hosts the annual “Gathering of the Classics,” recognized as Canada’s largest classic aircraft and car event. The event features a display of rare vintage WWII-era airplanes, classic cars, and motorcycles, along with flight experiences and various vendors.
