Letecké muzeum Kbely

The Letecké Muzeum Kbely (Kbely Aviation Museum) is one of the largest and most significant aviation museums in the Czech Republic, located in the Kbely district of Prague. Established in 1968, it is operated by the Military History Institute of Prague and offers a remarkable collection of military and civilian aircraft, primarily highlighting Czech and Czechoslovak aviation history.

The Letecké Muzeum collection at Kbely now includes 275 aircraft, of which approximately 110 are on public display at any given time. The museum contains many Czech designed and Czech built aircraft dating from World War I through World War II and up to 1960’s with a collection of supersonic jet fighters.
