The Minter Field Air Museum, located in Shafter, California, is dedicated to preserving the rich aviation history of Minter Field, which was the largest U.S. Army Air Force training base on the West Coast during World War II.

The Minter Field Air Museum is housed in the original fire station, built in 1941.
Exhibits and Collections:
- Artifacts and Photographs: The Minter Field Air Museum houses a vast collection of military uniforms, radio equipment, a Link Trainer, a Norden Bomb Sight, medals, patches, class books, newsletters, and numerous photographs and documents from various military eras.
- Aircraft and Vehicles: Visitors can explore restored military vehicles, including operational jeeps, a Willys “Follow Me” Jeep, and a 1940s-era Plymouth Staff car. The museum is also working on displaying an OH-6 LOACH helicopter used for reconnaissance in Vietnam.
- Model Collection: The Minter Field Air Museum features a diverse collection of models representing historic aircraft, ships, and military vehicles, providing insights into aviation and military history.
