Museo del Aeropuerto de Málaga

The Museo Aeronáutico de Málaga (Aviation Museum of Málaga) is a unique cultural and historical attraction located at Málaga Airport in southern Spain. The Museo del Aeropuerto de Málaga is situated in the original passenger terminal 1of Málaga Airport, which dates back to the 1940s. This historic building adds to the immersive experience by providing an authentic backdrop for the exhibits.

The Museo del Aeropuerto de Málaga houses over 4,000 exhibits associated with the history of airports and aviation. On display in the various halls are items and equipment related to runway lighting, rescue operations, airport health, soil mechanics, communications, electricity, electronics, etc. There is also a large display of airline company posters from all the ages, scale models, avionic equipment, suits worn by the crew, and equipment for controlling wildlife and administrative activities. The collection is completed with explanatory panels on the basics of air navigation, several aircraft parts, engines, etc.
