Cochran and W. Smith Pratt (USA). Withdrew with malfunctioning flaps, after landing damage at Bucharest at the first day of the air race October 20, 1934.

The Granville R-6H was acquired by Fransisco Sarabia Tinoco and renamed El Conquistador del Cielo with registration XB-AKM. He made a record breaking flight from Mexico City to Whashington D.C. but crashed on the return flight.
