Lohner L.1 L127 Austrian-Hungarian Navy | Ruud Boots
Designed by Jacob Lohner & Co of Vienna, eventually 93 examples of the L-1 were built. This example was one of 24 built under license in Hungary. This aircraft, flying for the Austro-Hungarian forces was attacking Italian forces during World War I when the two pilots defected on 03-June-1918, flying across the Adriatic to Fano. Extensively restored and preserved here since 1988.
