The Muzeu i Historisë së Forcave të Armatosura, Albania’s official Armed Forces Museum located in the Skënderbej Garrison approximately 30 minutes from central Tirana, offers a sweeping overview of the country’s military past. Inaugurated in December 2023, it features over 3,600 historical objects encompassing arms, vehicles, uniforms, documents, and artifacts.

The exhibition is organized into clearly defined pavilions: Main Hall, Tradition pavilion (Illyrian to 1939), National Liberation War (1939–1945), Cold War (1945–1990), NATO, and separate galleries dedicated to Air Force and Naval Force displays. Outdoor exhibits showcase heavy equipment, artillery, aircraft, naval vessels, and transport vehicles.
*Opening hours run Monday to Thursday, 09:00–16:00, and Friday, 09:00–13:00 (some sources note 10:00–17:00) for both domestic and foreign visitors; domestic visitors require a valid ID, while foreign guests must submit a visitor request seven days in advance to access the site.
