Tachikawa Garrison Museum

The Tachikawa Garrison Museum (立川駐屯地史料館) is located within the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s Tachikawa Garrison in Tachikawa, Tokyo. This museum showcases the rich history of the garrison, which dates back to its establishment as the Tachikawa Airfield in 1922. The airfield played a significant role during World War II and was later used by U.S. forces before being returned to Japan.
