Since 1948, the 325th Aviation Repair Plant (325th ARP) is located at the Taganrog-Central air base. The Taganrogskiy Muzey Aviatsionnoy Tekhniki / Taganrog Aviation Museum currently belongs to ARP.

The Taganrogskiy Muzey Aviatsionnoy Tekhniki for its exhibits is quite diverse:  there are 14 types of planes. More than half of them are combat aircraft, including the rarest Mig-25 BM, of which only 40 examples were constructed, and the one that is on display in Taganrog seems to be the only one that survived. The Mig-23 was flying in Afghanistan with stars on its wings (the number of missions during hostilities), a unique amphibian aircraft designed to eliminate submarines. There are also helicopters and numerous aircraft equipment such as guns, rockets, bombs, catapult chairs, pilot equipment, mock-ups and more. Each piece of equipment has its own history. All this was assembled, transported and restored by the employees themselves, headed by Stoyanov.

Visitors are allowed to get inside each aircraft. Now the museum keepers are trying to acquire City Status for their museum.
