Tri-State Warbird Museum

The Tri-State Warbird Museum in Batavia, Ohio was formed in 2003 with a commitment to preserve the aircraft of World War II, educate our visitors on America’s role in WWII, and to honor the veterans who fought and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Originally constructed as a 12,000 sq/ft hangar and 5,000 sq/ft museum display space at the Clermont County Airport, the Tri-State Warbird Museum was completed and opened to the public in 2004.

* The Grumman TBM-3 Avenger, N420GP, sustained substantial damage when it was involved on May 15, 2025 in an accident at Terre Haute-Hulman Field (HUF/KHUF), Terre Haute, Indiana.
The first pilot sustained unspecified injuries, and second pilot sustained minor injuries.

Preliminary information indicates the aircraft landed short of runway 23 and came to rest inverted.

The Aviation Safety Network said the 1-pistol Grumman-Fairey Avenger AS.3M crashed on landing under unknown circumstances. The plane was used during WWII to fire torpedoes.
