The museum is close to the site where Miller\u2019s <strong>plane mysteriously disappeared<\/strong> over the <strong>English Channel<\/strong> on December 15 1944, during World War II. The Glenn Miller Museum features exhibits that focus on his musical legacy, his role during the war, and the mysterious circumstances surrounding his disappearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Glenn Miller Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twinwood Aviation Museum is housed in the original Flight Office building<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"LrzXr\">Clapham<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"LrzXr\">Bedford MK41 6AB<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviationmuseum.eu\/Blogvorm\/2015\/05\/30\/united-kingdom\/\">United Kingdom<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.twinwoodaviationmuseum.org\">https:\/\/www.twinwoodaviationmuseum.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"mailto:twinwoodaviation@btinternet.com\">twinwoodaviation@btinternet.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First Sunday of May through to the last Sunday of September. Glenn Miller was an influential figure in jazz and pop music, with hits like &#8220;<strong>In the Mood<\/strong>,&#8221; &#8220;<strong>Moonlight Serenade<\/strong>,&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Chattanooga Choo Choo<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Twinwood Aviation Museum<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The museum covering the second World War with displays on the <strong>RAF<\/strong> and <strong>8th USAAF<\/strong> along with the Home Front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Twinwood Aviation Museum<\/strong> is housed in the former airfield that played an important role during the Second World War. Twinwood was used by the United States Army Air Forces, and it was from here that Glenn Miller\u2019s plane took off before his disappearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Twinwood Aviation Museum<\/strong> focuses on aviation history, with displays of aircraft, artifacts, and memorabilia from both World War I and World War II.
