The museum resides on the Spear property, and there have been challenges in legally separating its four acres from the rest of the property. The collection is managed by a board of directors as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity and is not the property of the Spear family. The board is actively working to resolve these issues to reopen the museum to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to its closure, the <strong>Museum of the Forgotten Warriors<\/strong> featured an extensive collection of military artifacts, including uniforms, photographs, flags, badges, and more, representing various conflicts from the Civil War to the present.
